The force is strong with this one...

Why is it that every time I go in to London Camera Exchange in Nottingham I buy something?

Last time I went in I was officially only supposed to be walking past, ended up being dragged in by some mystical force to buy a compact camera. I have lots of stuff knocking about from there now, memory cards, bags, cloths, lens filters.

So far the purchases have been small... Until Saturday...
I was only in town to drop as many leaflets about the forthcoming photography workshops (Wollaton hall and Nottingham castle in July) as possible or until I had had enough at least. It's amazing how many counter residing snacks and coffees you feel obliged to purchase when the staff agree to you placing flyers!

Oh... and If anyone was interested it was the latter "until I had had enough", which was not as long as I thought.

Wandering past London Camera Exchange in my homer Simpson like chocolate and coffee induced high, I stopped and admired the second hand kit in the window, possibly dribbling, I'm not sure. Before I knew it I was back out in the street clutching a carrier bag and no memory of the previous 15 minutes!
Looking in the bag I discovered a new lens!.... Ok LCE - you got me again with your Jedi like 'mind over wallet' control.... But once I'm back from seeing yoda.... Be strong I will... Hmmm!

The perceptive people out there will of course have read this and noticed that this was just a discrete way of being able to point out about our photography courses In July. But for those that didn't spot it....this last bit is for you.
