The Nottingham Recorder Editorial

Below is the editorial written to appear in next weeks edition of the Nottingham Recorder. A Stapleford photographer has plans to cut the cost of photography for weddings, gigs, events and merchandise work.

“Digital makes photography more accessible rendering some ’film’ processes unnecessary and simplifying techniques, but prices don't seem to have reflected this, I’d like to change that."Andy has been commissioned by comedians at Jongluers and the band IvyRise, who recently supported Bon Jovi.

Work has appeared in the local press and in an exhibition throughout February at Beeston Library, produced good reviews.

Weddings whether intimate or grand, have moments the couple miss, with the rise of documentary style photography the way people view the occasion changes. "Capturing people informally often gets their best side and builds a picture of the day. Alongside the formal photos they really compliment an album.

As well as fantastic A3 books Andy can have your images hand painted on canvas "there are companies who can transfer images to canvas, but I take it further and commission a 'real' painting.

New Advertising push

This year i have decided to go for a harder sell. you will find me now in the yellow pages and on yell.com as well as advertising in the local press (advert below).

Im also going to enter some more competitions this year too yes i know its August already!

Heres hoping for a successful year in photography.

A new view on wedding photography!

Finding a good but reasonable wedding photographer can be a nightmare!

We are all too aware of the pitt falls of finding someone you can trust to give you just what you want!

What with the rise of 'reportage' photography work at weddings which usually means your photographer being around on the day for longer than in previous years you can end up paying through the nose. My service is different you get just what you're looking for but with the added bonus of the word 'reasonable' attached!
