We found out about this event only the day before it was happening! The photographer lined up to do it had pulled out. When Linda at Unison contacted us about it we said "absolutely yes!" We gathered the equipment together, Cameras, Laptops, Printers, display board, lights and much much more!
It was a red carpet event so we set up a camera right in front of the entrance, all the guests were very well dressed and all were happy to have their pictures taken. From the minute the meal was over guests started to arrive at our position in the atrium of the Gateway Hotel and from that moment we never stopped printing and selling prints, some wanted more shots doing others wanted people removing from the photos of them! ha!
The response from Unison was great. they seemed highly impressed with the set up we had and are looking forward to be able to use us again!
We are looking forward to working with them too!

My name is Linda and I am Social secretary for Unison Power branch, I had organised our Christmas party and all was well but the photographer let me down at the last minute, There was several others that I contacted through personal recomendations who failed to even return my calls or emails, So from 5am the day before the event I was frantically trying to find a replacement, I emailed several photographers who again failed to return my message all but a 2 Andy was one(the other failed to leave return contact details) We discussed what was required for the event and although with only a days notice I was confident that Andy would deliver on his promise. Andy and Lisa arrived at the hotel on time and swiftly set up the equiptment, very soon the guests were arriving and Andy was interacting with the guests and snapping away. I would like to say very special thanks to Andy and Lisa for a fantastic job,they both provided a very professional service that I would be delighted in using again. The photo's were fantastic and the guests have fedback that Andy and Lisa were friendly and professional and they loved their photo's. I look forward to working with Andy Wallis Photography again and would recommend their service to anyone. Thank you both very much.
