We had a great night on thursday, taking the photographs of Ivyrise. I found myself once again tiptoeing around the band on cables I was convinced I was going to trip over!
Sian Alexandra, the girl with the acoustic guitar, did a set before them, so i took some of her, gave my card to her sister Rachael and told her i will send the images on to her if she supplied me her email address.
Ivyrise, Who have changed the line up slightly since i last saw them, new boy being Dan the guitarist, played extremely well as always. They have a rich sound which almost makes them sound recorded on the night! Of course they're not they are just very good at what they do! After the set we did a short photo shoot in a great area at the back of the venue whch had a gazebo covered in lights over it. we took some shots above these lights on a fire escape, i had to scramble under two air conditioning units in the dark to get just the right angle!

The day after the gig they played a set at the BBC building on London Road.
